Alamo, Dec 15 - William H. Willis, veteran resident of
Alamo, died at his home Tuesday night at 9:30 o'clock from a
complication of diseases following one week's illness. Mr. Willis was
born Jan 17, 1869 and was the son of Abner and Eva Butts Willis. He was a
member of the Alamo Christian Church and Masonic lodge here. One
daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Johnson of Decatur, Ill and a number of cousines
living in the vicinity of Alamo survive. The funeral services will be
conducted from the Alamo Christian Church Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock with burial in Alamo Cemetery. The Rev. John Servies will be in
